Our countersunk hole NdFeB magnets are precision machined via wire cutting, drilling and countersinking based on standard NdFeB blanks. Pre-machined standard screw countersunk holes allow quick assembly with all regular screws. These magnets feature flat mating surfaces, precise hole dimensions and secure mounting. They eliminate common issues of ordinary magnets including sliding displacement and insecure fastening, and fit all types of fixture structures for fixing, holding and positioning.
Magnet Grades: Refer to our full magnet grade performance datasheet for details.
Magnetization Direction: Customizable to match your equipment layout and assembly requirements.
1. Material Composition
Countersunk NdFeB magnets consist of neodymium, pure iron and ferroboron, with the chemical formula Nd₂Fe₁₄B. We add tailored trace metal alloys according to target magnetic performance, then manufacture the blanks through a series of strict metallurgical processes. The finished magnets deliver consistent magnetic strength and stable overall performance.
2. Product Type Introduction
NdFeB magnets fall into two main categories: sintered NdFeB and bonded NdFeB. All our countersunk hole magnets are manufactured from sintered NdFeB. Known as the "King of Permanent Magnets", sintered NdFeB offers ultra-high magnetic force, stable performance and strong resistance to demagnetization, making it the top choice for industrial holding and positioning applications.
3. Complete Manufacturing Workflow
Full production sequence: Raw Material Batching → Melting → Powder Production → Compacting → High-Temperature Sintering → Precision Grinding → Wire Cutting → CNC Drilling & Countersinking → Anti-Corrosion Plating → Magnetized Finished Goods. Every countersunk hole is processed on precision CNC equipment, delivering smooth inner walls, standard countersink angles and tight dimensional tolerances to meet strict precision machinery assembly standards.
4. Surface Anti-Corrosion Coatings
Multiple coating options are available to prevent rust and extend magnet service life. Standard coatings include zinc plating (blue-white zinc, color zinc), nickel plating, Ni-Cu-Ni triple-layer coating and baking paint. For harsh, corrosive or outdoor working environments, premium protective finishes are optional: epoxy coating, electrophoretic coating, phosphating, gold plating, silver plating and chrome plating.
5. Main Application Industries
Widely used in automation tooling & fixtures, mold magnetic retention, mechanical positioning hardware, advertising magnetic mounts, medical devices, furniture fittings, precision measuring instruments and fixed structures on automated production lines.
