Ferrite is a magnetic material mainly composed of iron oxides. It is generally produced by sintering iron oxide with one or more metal oxides at high temperatures. As a non-metallic magnetic material, ferrite features low cost, high density, high hardness, high brittleness, excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. It is a fundamental magnetic material widely adopted across all industrial sectors.
Compared with rare earth magnets, ferrite delivers relatively weaker magnetic force yet boasts prominent price advantages.
